Calle 13 – The Puerto Rican Coen Brothers

Here’s the song, Muerte En Hawaii. My, my, the things we feel capable of doing when enraptured and entangled in the wonderful lacings of love.

In most of his music, lead-singer Rene Joglar plays the wise fool, clowning on the outside; but while you’re laughing, a crazy insight into your own humanity percolates to the surface and you’re that much the wiser because of it. He cuts through the b.s., like hot metal through cheese. Kinda reminds me of The Fool in King Lear.

Oh, yeah… and don’t forget to pour a little out for the dolphins!
