The following is a released transcript of a 2016 text message conversation captured from the cell phone of 17-year-old Jerry Micaccio of Lakewood, Colorado.
The lively bevy of messages conveys the build up of events which Jefferson County Police and city officials claim "became the most notorious single-night debacle, yet largest private-sourced money-raising event in the state's history," according to former county commissioner and four-time national rodeo champion, Peter Selleck.
Still bewildered locals now refer to the night's events simply as Turnt Jesus.
